From the time the purchasers first enquired about the house until completion day took approximately 3 months- we thought that day would never come due to technical difficulties encountered with the authorities !! We asked Jamal to sell our villa in October 2013. He found a buyer quite quickly, which was very pleasing given the economic climate. He also obtained a sensible price, whereas other agents were virtually suggesting we give the house away. The sale completed in March 2014. Throughout the process he kept us updated on what was going on and liaised with both abogados to ensure that progress was being made.
Jamal is extremely personable and friendly so it was very easy to work with him. After the sale was completed, there was a complication involving long and tedious dealings with the water company, Chiclana Natural. Because we live in the UK, it was virtually impossible for us to deal with this. Jamal had fulfilled his commitment to sell our house and could have walked away at that point. Instead he has spent hours of his own time trying to sort this matter for us. This process is on-going. I am waiting for an operation so cannot travel to Spain at present and we are indebted to him for his continued assistance.
I would like to think that we are friends by now. We have met his wife, Anna, who works with him. They are a lovely couple and we would happily recommend their services.
