Good day to you all. I hope you had a lovely summer. It was actually a very pleasant one, without any strong winds, and not too many days of high-end temperatures.
We are on the look out for a sales person to help with the sales and rentals, and also the day to day running of the office.

Property Market Update
Sales in the year so far have remained very strong with prices still stable. Even properties that have been on the market for months and months, and that were previously considered over-priced, are now selling due to the shortage of stock.
The Spanish government has released figures estimating that Spain will end the year with a GDP growth of approximately 2.8%, which is better than many European countries.
This is most likely driven by the fact that it continues to be an attractive place for second homes, investment opportunities for foreign investors, and relatively affordable holidays with guaranteed sunshine. Obviously inflation and government spending have a role to play in this.
Overall property sales in June 2024 vs June 2023 (not including donations, inheritance etc), rose in the Cadiz region from 1.275 to 1.358 (6.5%) and fell nationally from 53.367 to 50.099 (-6.1%), showing the continuing popularity in this part of Spain.
However, in the region of Cádiz, compared to June last year, June 2024 has seen a slight drop (-7.8%) from 1.315 to 1.052 in the number of mortgage approvals. This is due to the existing high rates of interest having it´s impact on borrowers.
New A48 roadworks
Anyone who has visited the area this summer will have seen the roadwork improvements to the A48 junction between Chiclana, Puerto Real and Cadiz. This is aimed at improving congestion at this critical junction especially during the holiday season. Hopefully this will be completed by the end of the year.
